Ordering the
decoration layers
Each slide in the storyboard
can contain within it one or more decorations. Each decoration
(i.e. An image / video or text) will be drawn in a set order and so
can be considered as a
'layer'.
Additional to decorations,
slides can also contain:- A background, Filters and a Border. All
of these are considered layers too.
To adjust the order the slide layers are drawn
in,select the slide in the storyboard panel and
then select the 'Text &
Images' tab on the left. Then left click the
'Order
layers' button to bring up the following
window.
The above picture shows a
slide with 7 layers. The slide is draw from bottom layer to the top
layer, I.e. it starts with the 'background36.png' and finishes with
the 'Splotlight' border.
To change the order of a
layer, select it on the left list and then adjust
it's position using the up or down arrow
buttons.
Note:Border and Background layers can not be moved
and must always be at the top and
bottom.
To remove a
decoration, select it on the left and then left click
on the 'Remove'
button.
If you are not sure which
decoration in the left list corresponds to which decoration in the
right preview panel, you can select the
'Highlight selected
decoration'option which will draw an orange rectangle
around the decoration.
